Tell Sempra Energy to stop sponsoring Kathy Griffin's Hate Speech!
While the San Diego Gay Pride organization claims to be all about promoting human rights and respect for the diverse segments of society, they should really be disclosing their own utter hypocrisy when it comes to the religious bigotry being promoted within their annual parade and festival. Attacks on Conservative Catholics and Evangelical Christians has become one of the primary scenarios that is played out in this annual porn-filled gay rights celebration in San Diego, California. However, in 2008, the San Diego Gay Pride organization has decided to put their anti-christian bigotry front and center with the booking of Kathy Griffin as their headline entertainer for this year's festival.
Griffin, who is one of the most foul-mouthed performers in the entertainment industry, has made no effort in her career to hide her hate for Evangelical Christians. Nowhere was Kathy Griffin's anti-christian bigotry more pronounced than during a 2007 Emmy Award presentation. Griffin's hate speech against Christianity while receiving an Emmy Award last year for "Outstanding Reality Program" was so bad, that in a rare move, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences censored her “offensive remarks” when the event was broadcast on the E! channel. The remarks were also edited from the official Emmy Awards broadcast the next day on Fox.
At the 59th annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards held in 2007, Ms. Griffin was honored for having the Outstanding Reality Program, overtaking ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" after several attempts. During her acceptance speech, Griffin declared:
"I guess hell froze over," said Griffin. "A lot of people come up here and thank
Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this
award than Jesus.” Holding up her statuette, Griffin topped off her off-script
speech by saying, "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now."
“It is a sure bet that if Griffin had said, ‘Suck it, Muhammad,’ there would have
been a very different reaction from the crowd and from the media who covered
this event. To say nothing of the Muslim reaction,” continued Donohue. “When
Griffin roared ‘Suck it, Jesus!’ in front of her Tinseltown peers, she ‘drew laughs,’
according to the Hollywood Reporter. Does this not prove the point the Catholic
League has long made about Hollywood’s palpable hostility to Christians?"
In what has become an annual anti-christian hatefest in San Diego, the San Diego Gay Pride festival and parade is now turning into a full-fledged city-approved attack on Christianity. In addition to featuring the religious bigotry of Kathy Griffin, the San Diego Gay Pride organization is stepping up its intense hatred of Conservative Catholics. On the San Diego Gay Pride website is an advertisement for the organization's upcoming "Human Rights Vigil" which features a photograph that reads:
"Vatican Blocks Gay Human Rights at U.N."
The hypocrisy of the San Diego Gay Pride organization could not be more obvious. Each year, the organization allows men to dress up as nuns to mock the Catholic Church while they march in the annual homosexual parade. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence engages in some of the most obscene expressions imaginable while marching in the annual parade and descecrating Catholicism at the same time that parade organizers are demanding respect for their sexual behaviors and political propaganda.
With the fanatical anti-christian bigotry of Kathy Griffin and the sexualized obscenity of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence marching down the streets of San Diego's gay community, the San Diego Gay Pride organization is presenting Californians with a dark glimpse into the future of the state should same-sex marriages become permanent in California.
Those involved in the chaotic political activism of the San Diego Gay Pride organization are demanding that society submit to their radicalized agenda of homosexual marriages, fatherless children being intentionally created by lesbian couples, and the normalization of the gay pornography industry. At the same time that they will be marching through the streets of San Diego in July to promote these anarchist ideals, the San Diego Gay Pride organization will be simultaneously spreading their hate for religious groups that stand opposed to the homosexual community's love for sexual anarchy.
What has become an annual anti-christian hatefest in San Diego, the San Diego Gay Pride festival is now turning into a full-fledged city-approved attack on Christianity. The San Diego Gay Pride organization has now announced that fanatical anti-christian bigot Kathy Griffin will be headlining their 2008 homosexual festival in San Diego's city-owned Balboa Park.
Kathy Griffin is one of America's leading anti-christian bigots. While she fits within the longtime Gay Pride agenda of mocking the religious values of Evangelical Christians and Conservative Catholics, the City of San Diego must not embrace or endorse Griffin's profanity-laced so-called entertainment or her anti-christian hate speech. Such endorsements by the city council will violate their own municipal codes which regulate human rights violations and hate speech. Christians and Catholics alike will be watching to see if the San Diego City Council upholds such laws in the same way that they advocate each year the promotion of homosexuality, lesbianism, transsexuality and pornography when they declare Gay Pride Month in the City of San Diego.
In Addition to the offensive display of religious bigotry that comes with the Kathy Griffin performance on city property is the fact that Sempra Energy will be sponsoring the stage that Griffin will be performing on during the Gay Pride Festival. As the largest provider of energy in San Diego County, Sempra Energy owes the public an explanation for why they are sponsoring the religious bigotry of Kathy Griffin.
California Christian News Publisher James Hartline and his Christian activist group "The Not On My Watch" Team are asking all concerned citizens to stand up to the anti-christian agenda and bigotry of Kathy Griffin and the San Diego Gay Pride organization.
