Americans in the Crosshairs

Many of us have been labeled as potential domestic terrorists, vilified for our defense of freedom, and placed on “lists” that really do exist. All the while, real terrorists at the borders, reigning in Washington, operating banks, and running law enforcement agencies, are gearing up for what will be eventually recorded as the largest single nationwide military action against the American patriot movement in the history of western civilization.

Desperate men and women who cannot accept this slaughter of the Republic by mercenaries of the diabolical world rulers have begun to consider when, how, where, and with what assistance they will try to survive when the dogs of war are unleashed upon them. The Tea Party is vilified by the communists, Obama, the liberal press, and the apostate church. They are now targeted as racists, domestic terrorists, and narrow minded gun toting dupes because they stand for the correct positions against illegal federal and property taxes, open borders, sanctuary cities, drug wars, gang wars, abductions of young men and women, combat in American city streets with cartel enforcers and those who are here to overtake our rural ranches, communities and border regions. Because the government is against the Tea Partiers, it tells me they are correct in defying and protesting the government’s hateful response to citizens seeking truth and fighting a demagogue’s coup against this nation.

How much more of this can we possibly tolerate? It is my personal belief that this is part and parcel to our rejection of Almighty God and the responsibility we hold to govern our lives and each other with Biblical morality. I believe that we are in line for a national breakdown and economic disaster because we worship at the feet of money, sin, and greed, not God. We are about to reap what we justly deserve and have sown over decades of moral decline. A nation that will not acknowledge the sin of abortion and weep for the loss of millions of BABIES, has no right nor expectation of mercy from the very God that created the child in the first place. American law, American government, and American citizens have pursued divorce in the court of Heaven from God himself, and it has been granted. So, we are now free to reap our desertion from the One who loves us the most. What fools…what abject fools have we become? Jesus said it best. “Forgive them Father, for they know NOT what they do.” It is truer now than it was at that wretched, yet blessed moment at Calvary.

It matters very little what we say or do about trying to defend the republic any longer. If there are enough souls left to “gather at the river” then they should be about doing repentance and preparing to give an account for what they have done. For some of us, the battle will go on to bail enough water to right the ship and work for a renewed nation built on truth, real justice, and goals worthy of a free people.

The lines of battle are so clearly drawn. Either you will join and fight for victory over the lies, distortions and vile agendas in Washington as our founders did against British tyranny while relative peace remains, or you will submit to the military, police and security forces being trained and amassed to make totally certain you take the ID chip, live and work where they assign you, and worship at the feet of the King of Tyranny. I am here to tell you that those are your ONLY choices. You will then draw the line. You will finally invoke the second amendment and pick up your rifle. You will turn off the television at last. Which will it be? Act now to change our destiny or just simply wait. Despise me if you will for telling you this, but that is your future. Choose wisely…..your life and your children’s future depends on what you do.

Editor’s comment: Greg Evensen makes some valid and critical points that should arouse and challenge every American. Please read again the second paragraph and note the words, “The Tea Party is vilified by . . .” and “Because the government is against the Tea Partiers, it tells me they are correct . . .” He speaks, as do many others, kindly and supportively of this new ‘Tea Party’ phenomena spreading across the national spectrum purportedly to “take America back to its original Christian roots and foundation.”

Good.

But I’m thinking how much better it would be if he could have said, “The Lord’s Church is vilified by . . .” and “Because the government is against the Lord’s Church, it tells me the Lord’s Church is correct . . .” Sadly, he couldn’t say ‘The Lord’s Church’ because today’s postmodern church is of no concern or threat to Satan or those who work in concert with him. And alas! it doesn’t appear “The Lord’s Church” will be used in this context anytime soon.

As goes the pulpit, so goes the church; as goes the church, so goes the nation. America’s current catastrophic moral, political, and economic crisis can be traced back to passive, silent, inert pastors and ‘Christians.’

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Prov 29:2). The Psalmist speaks to the Lord in Psalm 94:20, 21: “Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.” That is, “Lord will you permit a corrupt government to rule under your protection--a government permitting wrong to defeat right? Do you approve of those who condemn the innocent to death?”  The biblical answer in light of God’s sovereignty and holiness to both questions is, “No!”

Simply stated, God will not ignore sin. For an unbelieving world it is repentance or ruin as in the days of Noah and Lot. And to His Church that becomes ‘lukewarm,’ ignores and tolerates sin, God says: “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent” (Rev 2:5). That is, unless there is repentance and restoration, He will remove His presence, power, and glory from an unrepentant Church, leaving it vulnerable and without His protection.

Psalm 11

1 In the LORD put I my trust: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

God has not called His pastors or His Church to be ‘go-along-to-get-along’ political sympathizers; He has called them to be faithful ‘Heralds of Truth’ in proclaiming God’s Word: “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins” (Isa 58:1); to be light and salt in a dark and corrupt world. ~Robert McCurry
