Russian Military Analysts are reporting to President
Medvedev in the Kremlin today that the United States
President George Bush has ‘
confirmed’ his
intention to convert to Catholicism upon his leaving
office, and following the path of Britain’s former Prime
Minister Tony Blair who had, likewise,
converted
to the Catholic religion upon leaving office last year.
To the extraordinary reception given to the US War Leader
by Pope Benedict XVI we can read as reported by
Britain’s Independent News Service:
“President
George Bush was given such a splendid welcome by Pope
Benedict XVI yesterday that rumours started flying that
the President, like Tony Blair before him, was on the
verge of converting to Catholicism.
It
was a Vatican visit such as no other head of state has
ever enjoyed. Instead of greeting him, like all previous
high-ranking visitors, in the papal library of the
Apostolic Palace, the Pope took Mr
Bush round the medieval St John's Tower then gave him a
tour of the Vatican gardens, culminating in a brief
open-air concert by the Sistine Chapel Choir.
The
Pope waited for the President at the entrance of the
tower. As he arrived, the President was overheard gushing
"What an honour" as the two men disappeared for
a half-hour tête-à-tête, details of which have not been
made public.”
More ominous, however, about these reports are their
detailing the events that occurred in Washington D.C.
During Bush’s meeting with the Pope and wherein another
of the top US War Leaders, Vice President Cheney,
attempted a coup against his own government.
According to these reports, after arriving at the White
House yesterday morning, Vice President Cheney
‘notified’
President Bush that he was
‘taking command’ of
the United States Government and that all communications
in the US Capital were
‘cut off’ after a
staged
massive
power outage hit Washington D.C., and what is now
being termed in the American propaganda media as the “
Friday
the 13th Blackout”.
Upon his being told of the coup attempt by Vice President
Cheney, these reports continue, President Bush ordered a
group of high-level Washington ‘
power brokers’
to ‘
negotiate’ on his behalf, and which upon
the conclusion of this crucial meeting one of the
participants, top US newsman Tim Russert, was reported to
have died.
Though the propaganda organs in the United States are
reporting that Mr. Russert’s death was
due
to a heart attack, these reports detail a much more
critical view of his demise by stating that Mr. Russert
was a longstanding foe of Cheney and had, indeed, been the
chief
witness in the trial leading to the conviction of
Cheney’s former Chief of Staff
Lewis
"Scooter" Libby.
To the fears of Americas Top War Leaders behind this
deadly power struggle, say these reports, was the US
Supreme Courts decision this week restoring the right of
Habeas Corpus to the American people and extending this
most cherished right to those held prisoners of war in the
many secretive prisons operated by the US Military.
Of this historic ruling by the US Supreme Court we can
read as reported by the Houston Chronicle News Service:
“After
winning independence from a British monarch, King George
III, who had no compunction about arresting Colonial
opponents without legal justification, the Founding
Fathers made sure the Constitution of the newly created
United States would prevent future leaders from violations
of civil liberties.
Habeas
corpus, the guarantee that those who are imprisoned by
government can challenge the action in a duly constituted
court, is specifically cited in the pre-Bill of Rights
Constitution, which declared that the writ could be
suspended only in cases of rebellion or invasion.
More
than two centuries later, President Bush and the tactics
his administration used to conduct the war on terror have
put that commitment in jeopardy. Fortunately, another
legacy of the Founders — the system of checks and
balances between the executive, legislative and judicial
branches of government — has come to the rescue.
This
week's ruling by the Supreme Court in Boumediene
v. Bush establishes that prisoners seized by the United
States on suspicion of terrorism have a constitutional
right to contest their accusers in federal court. It
reaffirms one of the basic underpinnings of American
democracy and is a historic victory for those who are
committed to maintaining our civil liberties in the face
of attacks from both international terrorists and those in
government who would ignore the law in pursuing them.”
To the dangers facing the US architects of war in this
ruling, say Russian legal analysts, is the very real
likelihood that once the cases of the prisoners being held
by the Americans begin entering the US Federal Court
System, the full extent of Bush and Cheney’s use of
torture will be revealed, and with a new American
President, especially should it be Barak Obama, War Crime
Trials against these War Leaders will be all but assured.
What is unknown at this time, however, is who is now in
charge in the United States.
Should it be Bush, his new alliance with the Pope and
European Royal Houses will ensure the rapid disintegration
of the American Nation.
Should it be Cheney, the United States path towards Total
Global War to preserve the American Empire’s hegemony
will be the path upon which our whole World will be
taking.
