Welcome to Call to Decision Subject: Killing to Protect the Children
Does anyone but me see the irony here?
At least the assassins of
abortionists--men like Paul Hill, or Jim Kopp, et al--could claim they
were killing abortionists to stop the murder of unborn
babies. But I see nothing but satanic irony in murdering abortion
abolitionists like Jim Pouillon because the murderer says he is trying
to protect the children from having to look at the pictures
Jim carried.
And based on his own testimony
that's exactly what the man who murdered Jim Pouillan rationalized as
he pulled up in his car and put either 6 or 10 bullets (the accounts
vary) into his body at point blank range. To him, he was
protecting the children. Just like the abortionist assassins
believed they were protecting the children, the murderer of Jim
Pouillon believed he must protect the children, must be the
protector of children.
And Jim Pouillon's murderer did
all that after he had spent his entire life collaborating with
the legalized slaughter symbolized by the child Jim Pouillon displayed
on the sign he was carrying when he was murdered.
Talk about BEEEEE-zaaaaar.
Gulliver never traveled to a land like the United States of
America today. And there is a reason why. To imagine
such a land as ours would have been beyond even the most
fertile and offended imagination of Jonathan Swift in the eighteenth
century. Only the 21st century could breed minds among
whom the "logic" of Jim Pouillon's murderer would
resonate and lead citizens across the nation to nod and
agree that Jim Pouillon was asking to be murdered by exposing
children to the pictures he carried.
And Christians are making it all possible. Were it not for
the Denial that has afflicted Christians, it would be impossible
for the rest of the world to degenerate into such insanity.
Christians have become the infecting agents of the
mental illness afflicting the body politic in this nation.
What am I saying? This: the
murderer of Jim Pouillan was acting on behalf of the great
majority in this nation--Christians included.
Oh, most Christians will cluck, cluck and
say it was a tragedy that Jim was murdered, but the same
people will be quick to say Jim was totally wrong to show children the
pictures of bloody and/or mutilated aborted fetuses.
Wrong to show the best evidence of the
horrible abortion murders that have been legalized in this nation?
Wrong to show the little children who are about the only people in the
nation who have not already been brainwashed into collaborating with
their slaughter? And Christians lead people to believe it is
wrong?
Face it: The reaction of the majority of
Christians is exactly like the majority of pagans: nobody--or hardly
anybody--wants this nation to have to face the pictures that reveal
the bloody evidence that proves the faces and mutilated bodies of the
things we call "the fetus" are in fact and in reality and
before God Almighty the least of His children.
Why does the vast majority work so hard
to avoid facing the evidence? Why do people work overtime to
spin rumors that the pictures are not what they appear, not the
pictures of mutilated little human beings?
Here's why: We the people in that
secret place below ordinary consciousness, that place where corporate
thinking occurs--that place where much of the thinking of our species
occurs--know that we have tinkered with the most dangerous Force in
the universe when we the people tolerated our government legalizing
the slaughter of any and every unwanted baby conceived by God in this
nation.
We shouldn't be surprised we have
reached this place of Denial as a nation, and as Christians.
After all, we came by it naturally.
After all, we are the great
grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren of the same Christians
who rationalized that their Lord Jesus Christ would tolerate this
nation holding other people in chattel slavery.
It's obvious that this generation of
Christians is not the children of Old John Brown. In
fact we are anti-John Brown Christians, ever capable of castigating
anyone who has the audacity to ACT like he is the agent of a
wrathful God determined to protect the least of His children.
Not only do we not act like the children
of John Brown, we don't even act like the children of the
Lord Jesus Christ.
We act like the children of
the flesh--proud, defiant, and murderous.
The only really positive thing I can see
as I look around me today is that even if people find it easy to deny
the existence of God and/or the power of His Spirit because of our
example, the existence of Satan is validated virtually every day in
this demon infested nation. That's at least a start toward the
truth.
And this seems to be the truth we're
headed toward: sometimes you can't get the pus out until the boil gets
squeezed very hard.
If I can't get an Amen, can I at least
get an Ouch?
