PETITION AND PRAYER TO GOD, TO SAVE THE SOUL OF
ANTI-CHRISTIAN ACTIVIST MIKEY WEINSTEIN, AND CONVERT HIM TO
FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.
LAWSUIT: ANTI-CHRISTIAN
SUES CHAPLAIN FOR PRAYING PSALM 109 TO GOD
Friends and Intercessors, I need your prayers today,
Anti-Christian activist Mikey
Weinstein has filed a lawsuit against Chaplain Gordon
James Klingenschmitt of the Colorado-based The
Pray In Jesus Name Project in a Texas courtroom, and
against the Chaplaincy of Full Gospel Churches who endorsed
Chaplain Klingenschmitt for military chaplaincy, to
stop him from praying the Psalms to God.
Mr. Weinstein's lawsuit
accuses Chaplain Klingenschmitt of "terrorism" and
"hate" speech and "conspiracy to commit
violence" because the chaplain only prayed to God in
response to Mr. Weinstein's previous public attacks, and the
Chaplain quoted "illegal" Bible verses during his
prayers to God. A copy of the Chaplain's supposedly
"terrorist" prayer to God from 25 Apr 09, in which he
merely quotes verbatim the Jewish prayer of King David's Psalm
109 without embellishment, is here.
Ironically, Chaplain Klingenschmitt recently appeared on The
700 Club (watch
video here) defending the rights of pastors across
America to quote "illegal" Bible verses in public
without fear of government prosecution, after sending
approximately 400,000 faxes to Congress to defend free speech
by pastors.

The
Chaplain now faces "hate speech" accusations and a court-room
trial for the "crime" of quoting the Bible in a
public prayer, an act nearly identical to those
religious expressions recently
made illegal by the Obama Administration, which the
Chaplain warned could become illegal when petitioning Congress
to oppose the "Hate Crimes" law that punishes free
speech.
This new trial is the second time
Chaplain Klingenschmitt has been hauled into court because of
his public prayers, after facing court-martial in 2006
for praying "in Jesus name" in uniform as a Navy
Chaplain, but later being vindicated by Congress.

Contrary to Mr. Weinstein's new defamatory allegations,
Chaplain Klingenschmitt did not "curse" Mr.
Weinstein, in fact the Chaplain
prayed the opposite, saying "We bless them, but they
curse us," as you can read in the 25
Apr 09 prayer.
Contrary to any allegations, the Chaplain did not initiate
this fight, he only prayed Psalm 109 after and because Mr.
Weinstein first issued defamatory
press releases condemning the Chaplain. Mr.
Weinstein later threatened physical violence, saying he
"would like to beat the [expletive] out of [the Chaplain]
in a boxing ring or in an alley behind Safeway," as
reported on the front
page of the Dallas Morning News.
Contrary to Mr. Weinstein's defamatory allegations, the
Chaplain did not pray for "death" or
"violence" of anyone, (those words are Mr.
Weinstein's embellishments), the Chaplain merely prayed God
would defend him against Mr. Weinstein's attacks, by quoting
verbatim the words of King David in Psalm 109, as you can read
in the prayer.
In response to Chaplain Klingenschmitt's "terrorist"
act of prayer, Mr. Weinstein filed this lawsuit to request the
government 1) stop the Chaplain from praying such prayers to
God, or 2) punish him for a "hate" crime of publicly
quoting the Bible, or 3) to stop the Chaplain from quoting
"illegal" Bible verses like Psalm 109 during his
prayers to God. The Texas Judge
is literally being asked to rule that the court has
jurisdiction over the content of the Chaplain's prayers to
God.

Ironically the lawsuit questions if Chaplain Klingenschmitt is
anti-Semitic, when the Chaplain has received accolades from
Jewish groups including the Anti-Defamation
League, the Jewish Welfare Board, the Jewish Week newspaper,
and an Orthodox Jewish Sailor with whom he served in the
Navy. Mr. Weinstein now runs the risk of appearing
anti-Semitic himself, by suing the Chaplain for praying a
Jewish prayer written by King David of Israel. His
lawsuit admits such prayers are
common to both Christian and Jewish faiths, but should be
punished as illegal speech.
This lawsuit is just one of many which Mr. Weinstein has filed
against Christians, and to our knowledge, his anti-Christian
efforts have met with repeated failure.
In 2005, Mr. Weinstein sued the Air
Force Academy because chaplains quoted the Bible in
chapel and cadets and officers dared to talk publicly about
their faith in Jesus Christ. He lost and the
evangelical chaplains and cadets were vindicated.

In 2009, Mr. Weinstein filed a formal
IG complaint against an Air Force Colonel because she
sent an inspirational email to 3,000 subordinates. He
lost and the Colonel was cleared of any wrongdoing.
In 2009, Mr. Weinstein demanded the
Army court-martial the Chief of Army Chaplains because
that two-star General issued a proclamation calling for a day
of prayer and fasting for our troops. He lost and the
Christian Chaplain's effort to pray and fast for our troops
were supported by two Jewish chaplains.
Also in 2009, Mr. Weinstein demanded
the Army court-martial a chaplain in Iraq who dared to
quote Matthew 28:19 in church, encouraging voluntary
evangelism and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. He
lost and the Chaplain was vindicated, but the Pentagon seized
and burned the Soldiers privately owned Christian Bibles out
of fear of offending atheist complainers like Mr. Weinsten.
Now in 2009, Mr. Weinstein is suing
Chaplain Klingenschmitt for quoting Psalm 109 in his prayers
to God. Christian Attorney Stephen
Casey of Texas, who is also running for office to become the
next Texas State Representative from House District 52, is
defending the Chaplain pro-bono. The Rutherford
Institute is defending the Chaplaincy of Full Gospel Churches
pro-bono, and has issued a public statement.

We pray Mr. Weinstein loses this frivolous lawsuit, but more
importantly we pray he gains eternal salvation through
repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. To
add your "AMEN" to our simple new prayer, please
sign the free petition HERE
being careful not to write any comments that you don't want
investigated or admitted into our court proceeding.
Please do not make any effort
to contact, harrass, or communicate with Mr. Weinstein or his
family in any way, and for God's sake don't commit any
violence toward anyone. When George Tiller was killed,
we immediately condemned any and all vigilante acts of
violence. "Do not take revenge, my friends, but
leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to
avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." (Romans
12:19, NIV)
We ask only that you please join us
to pray for Christian liberty, and for the salvation of Mr.
Weinstein who hates Jesus Christ so vehemently that he
has repeatedly sued and threatened lawsuits against anyone who
prays in public or talks about Jesus in public, especially
Christian members of our military.
