Welcome to Call to Decision
Obama Laments:
"Many Americans Have Lost Faith in their Government"
Can I get an AMEN?
We only want
to keep the Lawful part of government Mr. Obama. That's the part we want
to call our own. That's one reason We
The People, wisely,
left "HealthCare" out of Our Constitution.
The
Pitchman-in-Chief, still stumping for National
Socialist Fascist Communist Healthcare:
Many
Americans have lost faith in their government, US President Barack
Obama admitted Wednesday, tackling a pervasive sentiment hobbling
his hopes for enacting sweeping reform.
American suspicion of government was deepening, he said in a speech
from the heartland state of Missouri, where he pushed his endangered
health reform drive that has been branded by Republicans as a
government takeover.
"People have lost faith in government -- they had lost faith in
government before I ran (for president), and it has been getting
worse," Obama said at a rally in St. Louis.
He quoted his political hero, US Civil War-era president Abraham
Lincoln, as saying that the role of government was to do what needed
to be done but could not be done by citizens themselves without
help.
"That pretty much sums up my attitude," Obama said. - Yahoo

Actually, we
started to suspect something in the years just before 1861, Mr. Obama.
Did we come
to this continent is search of some Giant Super Nanny?
No! We came
to this continent because "government" wouldn't permit us to practice
our faith in God according to the dictates of our consciences - in Liberty.
We did not
come here with our hands stuck in each other pockets.
Life,
faculties, production--in other words, individuality, liberty,
property -- this is man. And in spite of the cunning of artful
political leaders, these three gifts from God precede all human
legislation, and are superior to it.
Life,
liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On
the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property
existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place.
- Bastiat
in The Law.
Obama likes
to compare himself with Lincoln?
Lincoln is
the worst possible role model - he made war on his own country and
killed hundreds of thousands, destroying citizens in the North and
South, of all ages,
sexes and conditions. He
trashed the Sovereignty of the States - and couldn't care less about
real Liberty for anyone let alone Blacks. He
was the definitive Tyrant - and a Vicious man!
I don't want
Obama to be anything like Lincoln in his comings, his goings - or even
in his hangings around. As bad as he is - he's no match for Lincoln. And
I wouldn't wish that on him - even if he turns out to be our worst
contemporary domestic enemy.
To classical
libertarians, the high water mark of Liberty, was before, not after, the
War to Prevent Southern Liberty. And that certainly holds for the many
of the descendents of Black
Confederates [get used
to anomalies if you are going to learn the truth about history].
If Liberty
does not include the right to be left alone - or to leave at will - it
is not definable as Liberty for the States - or for the People.
Let's talk
about Minority Rights:
No
majority, however great even all of the people but one
Individual--may properly infringe, or possess the power to infringe,
the rights of any minority, however small--even a minority of a lone
Individual. - Hamilton
Abert Long
Is Liberty
something to be feared more than this lawless "government?"
What could
it mean?
Being
left alone to succeed or fail on our own - with the help of God and
our own natural associations without coercion?
Not
being groped at the airport?
Life,
Liberty, Private Property?
Keeping
what you have honestly earned?
Abundance?
One of
Jefferson most famous quotes:
"It
would be a dangerous delusion were a confidence in the men of our
choice to silence our fears for the safety of our rights...
Confidence is everywhere the parent of despotism. Free government is
founded in jealousy, and not in confidence. It is jealousy and not
confidence which prescribes limited constitutions, to bind down
those whom we are obliged to trust with power... Our Constitution
has accordingly fixed the limits to which, and no further, our
confidence may go... In questions of power, then, let no more be
heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the
chains of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky
Resolutions, 1798. ME 17:388
America is
suffering under a "dangerous delusion" whenever she trusts government
for anything outside of the scope of its lawful authority. The careful
sort of jealousy that should watch over our Republic is an honorable
trait. It is jealousy for the preservation of other people's private
property, their liberty, their unalienable rights - something that comes
from God and never from government.
Socialism is
founded in jealousy with theft and covetousness. And this is no
justification for avarice or monopolies either. But all of the great
traditions teach that charity is not charity that is not 100% voluntary.
"Give a man
a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him
for a lifetime." Teach him to enjoy stolen fish and he becomes your
slave for life.
None of us
is too big, or too small, to fail, not individually, not corporately,
and not nationally. Obama can try. But the Tower is
not going to reach Heaven. He plays upon the religious sympathies of the
people. He just wants them to come under one big tent called Government.
The hubris of empire and the rapaciousness of this criminal gang will
never be a substitute for the Rule of Law. Our present "government" is
too big Not to fail!
Another
Lincoln?
I hope we
already know all there is to know about this administration in terms of
what will have to be left out of the Obama Archives - as the
"remanufacturing" of the American Presidents continues.
May all of
his unlawful Hopes
for unlawful Change
be Hobbled!
