Ron Paul Ends His Campaign
"It's Up To The People To Save The Constitution"
In announcing the end to his campaign for political office last Thursday, Ron Paul called upon the People to do something that really makes a difference in the fight for freedom, to give the establishment the fight of its life, to save the country.
"[T]he last line of defense in support of freedom and the Constitution consists of the people themselves. If the people want to be free, if they want to lift themselves out from underneath a state apparatus that threatens their liberties, squanders their resources on needless wars, destroys the value of their dollar, and spews forth endless propaganda about how indispensable it is and how lost we would all be without it, there is no force that can stop them," said Paul. "The time has come to act on these words. May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in a moment of great crisis, stood up to the politicians, the opinion-molders, and the establishment, and saved their country."
The People's Profound Plan
To Restore Constitutional Order
Just what the Doctor ordered, People who want to be free are standing up, embarking on a three-step action Plan to save the Republic.
1. On June 30, 2008 hundreds of volunteers across the nation will serve seven Petitions for Redress upon every member of Congress, instructing each member to respond within forty days.
The Petitions detail egregious violations of our Constitution by the Government, including: starting a pre-emptive War against the sovereign state of Iraq without a Congressional Declaration of War as required by the Constitution; debasing our currency via the unconstitutional, privately owned Federal Reserve System; the failure of the President to enforce the Immigration laws of the nation; the formation - via bureaucratic stealth - of the North American Union; violations of the Privacy and Due Process clauses by the "USA Patriot Act"; the unlawful enforcement of federal gun control laws inside the fifty states in violation of the Second Amendment; and the imposition of constitutionally prohibited direct, un-apportioned taxes on the labor of ordinary Americans.
2. On July 11, 2008, volunteers across the country will serve as plaintiffs and will file declaratory judgment actions in each of the eleven federal judicial circuits, asking a judge in each Circuit to declare the full contours of the meaning of the Rights of the People and the obligations of the Government under the accountability clause of the First Amendment, something no court has ever done before.
3. On August 11, 2008, to draw attention to the fact that the People in America are no longer free because the federal Government of the United States of America is now routinely violating the Constitution and refuses to be held accountable, Bob Schulz will begin a hunger fast on the front doorsteps of the Government. Dozens of people have indicated their desire to join Bob for a day or two, or a weekend or more.
Help Fund the Plan
For the past 29 years Bob Schulz has refused to take any compensation for his work in defending the Constitution and the People's individual Rights, Freedoms and Liberties.
Bob extends this principle to those who publicly volunteer to serve in Liberty's defense. In this case he has taken a strong stance against asking the volunteers to directly bear the financial burden of their commitment.
Therefore, to finance the preparation and service of the Petitions on June 30, and to fund the eleven federal declaratory judgment actions to be filed on July 11th, the WTP Foundation is reaching out to you, our supporters.
During the last week of June, we plan to send a Petition Package to each volunteer that has offered to serve the Petitions upon a Senator or Representative. There are 535 members of Congress to be served. In many cases, we have had more than one person volunteer to serve his representative or senator. Each package will cost us approximately $10.00 to manufacture and mail. (minimum 535 x $10 = 3,350).
On July 11, we plan to file eleven declaratory judgment actions. The court filing fee for each is $350. ($350 x 11 = $3850).
By offering identical Packages to our general support base, we hope to be able to finance the first two stages of our project -- namely, the Service of the Petitions and the filing of the lawsuits.
Additionally, we call upon you to use this opportunity to help the Foundation meet its significant and ongoing monthly operational expenses for, e.g., technology and professional service providers, office expenses, computer equipment, utilities, travel, etc.
Revolutions require resources. Front line soldiers require supply lines. Ours is no different. We strongly urge everyone to go to our online store and donate to obtain copies of the 2008 Congress Petition Package.

We encourage you to obtain as many copies of the Petition Package as you are able. The Packages consist of professionally prepared CD-ROM disk, packaged inside a commercially printed full-color, hinged cardboard sleeve.
Supporters are encouraged to use the Packages to educate friends, community and co-workers about the Constitutional Crisis that confronts our Republic, the accountability clause of the First Amendment and the WTP organization.
Together, we will do something that really makes a difference in the fight for freedom.

A Few Volunteers Are Still Needed
We are in excellent shape regarding the plaintiff-volunteers. Thank you all.
However, a few volunteers are still needed to serve the Petitions for Redress.
On Friday of this week we plan to end the petition signing period to allow time to manufacture and ship the Petitions to the volunteers.
The following is a summary of where we stood as of noon yesterday:
a) Number of congressmen to be served: 535. Number of congressmen with servers: 328.
b) States where no additional volunteers are needed (although more would be okay): AR, AZ, HI, NV, NM, OR, SD, UT
c) States without any servers: AK, DE, ID, ME, RI, VT, WV
d) 15 "megastates" (states with most reps): # of congressmen with servers, # of congressmen without servers

· Texas: 30, 4 needed
· New York: 20, 11 needed
· Florida: 20, 7 needed
· Illinois: 13, 8 needed
· Ohio: 6, 14 needed
· Pennsylvania: 10, 10 needed

· North Carolina: 10, 5 needed

Although our volunteer system currently lists only the primary local District office location of each Senator and Representative, (and typically these are located in the largest city in the area), it is perfectly acceptable to serve Congressmen at ANY of their local state offices. Anyone that wishes to serve a Petition in any non-primary office location, should simply volunteer as normal through the online system, selecting the Congressperson they wish to serve.

If you encounter problems using the Congressional locator link because of multiple Congressional Districts crossing a single zip code, go the Post Office website at http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp to determine your full ZIP+4 based on your street address.
