- I have sent several WARNINGS out (info) these past months.
Guess folks are too busy with Jersey Shore of Dancing with the
Fools!! NOT one person remarked on the danger - not one.
This was decided way back in 2007 at one of their SUMMITS.
INSANE - saving the environment - energy saving - money
saving/ ALL A LIE. In fact these are MANDATED for the entire nation (already in UK) as of 2012. They have STOPPED making florescent bulbs. In fact - while the President was (photo op of America on the upswing!) lauding workers at a window factory and America's recovery (here's a career eh at $10 -$12 bucks an hr/ no benefits)the LAST light bulb plant was closing in a state next door (hundreds of workers). Whatever is in the pipeline now is all there is. I am not being an accomplice to the sickness and deaths of Chinese workers. Google Chinese Workers sickened by mercury bulbs. Who in God's name wants to buy a bulb - when research reports that IF you break it you have to use hazard materials guidelines to dispose of the broken, mercury mess ( "Cut away piece of carpet"..........). Read it for yourselves. Also the light is no good - they are tripling the costs (monopoly that it is) and it causes (mercury vapor emanating off of bulbs) HEADACHES - depression - etc. Google Mercury Bulbs cause illness. 
Not me. If you don't want to be trapped in another
sickening decision of our DO NOTHING JOKE of an EPA, I suggest
you buy (cheap) bulbs of all watt sizes now. Or don't
